Brian and Shelly began ministering with WOMF when Shelly took her first missions trip in 2002, and fell in love with the people of Uganda. Over the years Shelly and the family continued to visit and minister annually. Seven years after that first visit they packed up and moved around the world with their two children, Gabe and Brie. What an adventure God had in store for them!
The family quickly grew through the beauty of the adoption of two Ugandan children, Zoe and Noah. During this journey they have had the opportunity to better understand the challenges faced by Uganda's families, the rules and regulations, and how to better minister to vulnerable children and families.
Believing strongly in a disciple based ministry Brian and Shelly use every opportunity and venue to share the love of Jesus, teach sustainability, and use their skills to reproduce themselves. Whether they are sharing on hygiene in a refugee camp, preaching in a local church, or teaching how to make compost in their back yard they love being with the people God has called them to.
Brian and Shelly ministered for many years in churches in America, and are both currently licensed ministers with Grace International. Their son Gabe has since moved back to the states, married, and lives with his wife Sarah in their hometown of Roseburg, Oregon.
