2027 · SAVE THE DATES
In 2027, churches across eight African countries are showing up on the same day first to pray, then to get baptized. Lock in the dates, sign your church up, and be part of it.
EVENT ONE · GLOBAL DAY OF PRAYER
Prayer is already part of everything we do. On February 1, we're doing it together — every WOMF church, in every country we serve, praying on the same day.
Picture believers in Kampala, Kigali, Bujumbura, and every other community we serve, all lifting up the same needs at the same time.
A SUGGESTED FLOW FOR THE DAY
Start by naming what God has done in your church and community this past year.
Pray for pastors, leaders, and churches in every country, and for the needs in your own congregation.
Close by praying for growth, provision, and the people who haven't heard the gospel yet.
Use it as a guide, not a rule. A full service, a small group, or a quiet hour on your own all count.
EVENT TWO · ONE DAY. ONE CHURCH. ONE BAPTISM.
Baptism is how a believer says it out loud: I'm all in with Jesus. Our churches baptize new believers all year long — but on May 16, we're doing it all on the same day.
Rivers, lakes, baptismal pools — from Kampala to Kigali to Juba, new believers will step into the water on the same Sunday. Our churches were never meant to do this alone, and this is what it looks like when we don't.
SUNDAY May 16, 2027WHERE IT'S HAPPENING
Every WOMF church in these eight countries is invited to both days.
