He has developed Cateracts in both eyes and now is experiencing high blood presure. The cateracts has caused complete blindness in both eyes, and the high blood pressure is making it increasingly difficult to do surgery. We are thankful for your support and prayers that have allowed us to do this good ministry in Uganda ! I wrote last month about us leaving early for ministry to arrive at the prison before the men go to work for the day. This has been a great help, and allowed us to reach many prisoners that otherwise would never have been able to hear the Gospel. So many have been born again! Well over 500 have answered altar calls this month! When Pastor Adrian Mugenyi began a small prison ministry a few years ago with a few dollars from missionaries Dick and Doris Adams, we did not know what great things God would do! Pastor Adrian was a pioneer, reaching many of the prisons we now visit on his motorcycle. Many of those prisons had little or no Gospel light. Now today many of those prisons have most or all of the prisoners saved! A few days ago we ministered at Ssentema prison, leaving around 4:30am to reach there as the sun rose. We had a powerful time, around 50 or more of the prisoners wanted to be saved, and we anointed many with oil and prayed for them. Leaving early and being able to meet all of the prisoners is also changing the atmosphere in the prisons that we are visiting, as all of the prisoners and guards listen to the Word of God together. Please pray for God’s hand of protection on me and the team, as it is somewhat more dangerous to travel at night in Uganda .
